Senior Academic, Research and Teaching Promotions 2023-24

Congratulations to the IoO and Moorfields Eye Hospital associated academic staff who received promotions this year.

The senior promotions process takes place each year and considers promotion to Associate Professor and Professorial level across the academic pathways. This year there were seven colleagues promoted at our institute.

They are:

  • Dr Sajjad Ahmad, Professor of Corneal Regeneration
  • Dr Roxanne Crosby-Nwaobi, Professor (Teaching)
  • Dr Alice Davidson, Professor of Molecular Genetics 
  • Ms Rashmi Mathew, Professor (Teaching)
  • Dr Anthony Robson, Professor of Visual Electrophysiology
  • Dr Amanda-Jayne Carr, Associate Professor
  • Mr Praveen Patel, Associate Professor

All promotions effective from 1 October 2024
