The Digital Assessment team offer guidance and support for UCL's digital assessments tools and can advise on best practice for assessment and feedback design, providing support and training for academic and professional services staff across faculties and departments.
Lene Marie Kjems Digital Assessment Advisor | Lene Marie joined UCL as a Digital Assessment Advisor in September 2021. She works with the IOE, UCL's Faculty of Education and Society and Law. Before coming to UCL, Lene Marie was an Elearning Advisor at the University of Copenhagen, engaged in curriculum design using the UCL ABC approach, staff training, and production of online teaching materials like online courses, ebooks, illustrations, and video lectures. Before working in HE, Lene Marie was a teacher of Danish as a Second Language for eight years. | |
Amanda Seller Digital Assessment Advisor | Amanda works as a Digital Assessment Advisor encouraging and supporting digital assessment across UCL. Prior to joining the team in February 2023, Amanda worked at IOE, UCL’s Faculty of Education and Society where she supported programmes to innovate and make the best use of digital resources. Amanda comes from a background across education sectors having started out as an EFL (English as a Foreign Language) Tutor. | |
Nadia Hussain Learning Technologist | Nadia joined UCL Digital Assessment team as a Learning Technologist in September 2022. She supports wider assessments with a focus on digital product areas such as Moodle VLE, Turnitin, Wiseflow, etc. Before coming to UCL, Nadia held a similar post at Imperial College London involved in administrating and testing online learning platforms as well as providing training to academics in the use of digital learning technologies. She holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Brunel University. | |
Claudia Cox Senior Learning Technologist | Claudia joined UCL as a Digital Assessment Advisor in July 2023 and supports digital assessment across Maths and Physical Sciences, Population Health and Life Sciences, as well as providing STEM support in Assessment Futures. Previously, Claudia was a Learning Technologist at Imperial College London offering support and training in a range of digital learning technologies and assisting the launch of a fully online Masters programme. Before that, she was also a key figure in the success of Digital Assessment @Brunel, a major project to digitise the majority of assessment and exams at Brunel University London. Claudia received a BA in Games Design with Creative Writing from Brunel University London and is a serial hobbyist, with interests in everything from weight lifting to insect taxidermy. |
