Filestore@UCL: Adding your Home (N:) drive to legacy clients

Guidance on how to add your UCL Home (N:) drive if you are using a client device that is not running the latest OS.

Before you start...

• A computer connected to the UCL network either onsite or via the UCL VPN remote access service if you are offsite.
• You need to know your 7 character UCL user ID

Instructions

If you are running a client device that has troubles mapping to the DFSN paths highlighted above and is not the latest OS or previous version then you may need to map to the location directly.

To do so please follow the instructions on UCL Web DFS Query.

Then follow the instructions within.
