Video tape formats

We can capture and convert from the following video tape formats:

• Mini DV (SD & HD)
• VHS / S-VHS
• Compact C VHS
• Hi 8 and Video 8
• Betacam SP
• Betacam SX

Audio tape formats

We can also convert from the following audio tape formats:

• DAT
• Audio Cassette

Tape formats we do not cover

Please note that we do not cover any other tape formats other than those listed above. So formats such as... U-Matic, multitrack tape, 35mm tape etc., are not catered for.

'From Optical Disc' format conversion deals with cases where the video or audio source material resides either on a consumer video/audio optical disc format.

Note: This is not to be confused with data files stored on a data CD-ROM or data DVD-ROM. If you want to convert from an existing file format e.g. MOV, AVI, FLV etc. into something else, then please see the Format Conversion – From Media File section.
