Register now - practical statistics in medical research course

Researchers can now register for the 'practical statistics in medical research' course which is being offered by the Biostatistics Group.
The course is designed for health care professionals or anyone in the health care field who needs to understand the basic principles of quantitative research methods, their application and interpretation
The course is structured into several teaching sessions per day, with a mixture of lectures, workshops and computer work.
This course is accredited with 21 CPD points from the Royal College of Physicians and offered at the reduced rate of £200 for a limited number of applicants from UCL, UCLH or the Royal Free.
Course tutors include Professor Doug Altman, Professor Rumana Omar, Caroline Doré, Dr Gareth Ambler, Dr Julie Barber, Fatima Jichi, Dr Andrew Copas and Dr Aiden O'Keeffe.
