Accessing a Course on Teams

Some Tutors prefer to teach using Teams. You can join the class using the instructions below.

As your Evening Course Class will take place in MS Teams. You should have already received the class invitation details from your tutor. The invitation will have been sent to your UCL email account (see below).   

We recommend that you use the MS Teams desktop application rather than access it via a web browser or on a mobile device. Follow this link to download Microsoft Teams: https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/microsoft-365/microsoft-teams/download-app. Choose the Teams for work or school option.   

To log in to your UCL Teams account you will need to use your UserID@ucl.ac.uk, (e.g. uczlxxx@ucl.ac.uk) and password – see attachment for further information on joining your UCL Teams classes.

How to access your UCL Email: 

The easiest and quickest way to check your email is via Outlook Web Access (OWA). You log in with your UCL user ID and password. Your user ID needs to be entered in the following format: UserID@ucl.ac.uk (You must add: @ucl.ac.uk after your User ID -  e.g. uczlxxx@ucl.ac.uk).
