Afghanistan
Grade 12 Graduation Certificate (Baccalauria) with no less than 80% overall and 85% in required and/or relevant academic subjects.
Albania
Completion of Diploma of State Matura with no less than a score of 9 overall and 9 in required and/or relevant academic subjects.
Algeria
Baccalauréat de l'Enseignement Secondaire with 14/20 ('Bien') overall and no less than 16/20 in required and/or relevant academic subjects.
Argentina
Titulo de Bachiller with a minimum overall mark of 8/10 ('Distinguido') and 8/10 in required and/or relevant academic subjects.
Armenia
Certificate of Unified examination along with the Certificate of General Secondary Education with an average overall mark of 16/20 and no less than 17/20 in required and/or relevant academic subjects.
We do not consider applicants who have or are taking the Araratian Baccalaureate (certified by Cambridge International) as this qualification allows direct entry to a UCL undergraduate degree.
Azerbaijan
Orta Təhsil Haqqında Attestati (Certificate of Complete Secondary Education) with overall minimum average of 4.5 and no less than 5 in required and/or relevant academic subjects.
Students taking a minimum of 3 AS-levels with minimum marks of B in all subjects and A in the required and/or relevant subjects will also be considered.

Bahrain
Shahadat Al-Thanawaya Al-Aama (General Secondary Education Certificate Examination or Secondary School Leaving Certificate) in the Scientific, Literary or Commercial streams with a minimum average mark of 80% and 90% in required and/or relevant academic subjects.
Bangladesh
Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) with a minimum overall average grade or predicted grade of 4 (A) and no less than 4.0 (A) in required and/or relevant academic subjects, and award of the Junior School Certificate Examination with no less than 4.0 (A) in all subjects.
Belarus
Certificate of Secondary Education with a minimum overall mark of 4.5, including grades of 5 in required and/or relevant academic subjects.
Belize
Carribean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) with no less than an overall grade II (B) and profile grades I (A) in the required subjects.
Botswana
Botswana or International General Certificate of Secondary Education (BGCSE or IGCSE) with no less than B overall and A in the required and/or relevant academic subject plus the completion of one year of a Bachelor degree from the University of Botswana with an average Second Class First Division.
Brazil
Certificado de Conclusão de Ensino Médio with an overall average of 8/10 with 8/10 in required and/or relevant academic subjects.
C
Cambodia
Award of the Cambodian Diploma of Upper Secondary Education, with the advanced mathematics stream for applicants taking mathematics on the UPC, or the Certificate of Foundation Year Course, with no less than 70% (B or 3.0 grade point) overall and 80% (B+ or 3.5 grade point) in the required academic subjects.
Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Exam (CAPE)
Students who are enrolled in the CAPE (CXC) (Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examination-Caribbean Examinations Council) are not eligible for the UPC as they can apply for direct entry onto a UCL undergraduate degree.

Chile
Certificate of Enseñanza Media with a minimum overall grade of 6.0 and no less than 6.0 in required and/or relevant academic subjects.
China
Senior High School Graduation Certificate with a minimum overall mark of 80% and no less than 85% in required and/or relevant academic subjects.
Colombia
Bachiller Académico with 'Very Good' grades in each required and/or relevant academic subject. You will need to provide your transcript with the grading scale used by your high school.
Cuba
Titulo de Bachiller with 80% overall and in the required and/or relevant subjects.
Please note that students who are enrolled in the CAPE(CXC) (Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examination-Caribbean Examinations Council) are eligible for direct entry.
Cyprus
Award of the Upper Secondary School Leaving Certificate with a minimum overall mark of 16.0 or 76% and no less than 17.0 or 81% in the required and/or relevant academic subjects.
Applicants from Greek Cypriot community: if you score 19.0 or 91% in the Apolytirion of Lykeio and have no less than two additional A-levels at grades BB, you are eligible for direct entry to UCL.
Applicants from Turkish Cypriot community:if you have completed one year of a Lisans Diplomasi (Bachelor Degree) at a Turkish university recognised by UCL, with an average of 3.3/4.0 CGPA, you are eligible for direct entry to UCL.

Dominican Republic
Titulo de Bachiller with 80% overall and in the required and/or relevant subjects.
Please note that students who are enrolled in the CAPE(CXC) (Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examination-Caribbean Examinations Council) are eligible for direct entry.

Ecuador
Titulo de Bachiller with a minimum overall mark of 8/10 and no less than 8/10 in required and/or relevant academic subjects.
Egypt
Thanaweya A’ama Al-Azhar (General Secondary School Certificate) with a minimum overall mark of 80% and no less than 85% in required and/or relevant academic subjects.
Ethiopia
Ethiopian School Leaving Certificate with grades A in required and/or relevant subjects; and/or the Ethiopian Higher Education Entrance Examination (EHEEE) with no subject under 80 and a total mark of around 350/700.
G
Georgia
Sruli Zogadi Ganatlebis Atestati (General Education Diploma) with required and/or relevant subjects graded minimum 'very good' (9/10).
For schools aligned with the American grading scale (GPA /4.0), a minimum equivalent of 3.4 CGPA overall as well as a GPA of 3.4/4 in required and/or relevant academic subjects in the last 2 years.
Ghana
West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) with no less than B2 overall and in required and/or relevant academic subjects.
Greece
Award of the Upper Secondary School Leaving certificate, Apolytirion of Lykeio, with a minimum overall mark of 16.0 and no less than 17.0 in the required and/or relevant academic subjects.
Please note that applicants who scored 19.0 in the Apolytirion and have no less than two additional A-levels at grades BB are eligible for direct entry to UCL.'

India
India / Senior School Certificate Examination (ISC / SSC) with a minimum overall mark of 70% and no less than 75% in required and/or relevant academic subjects (or 60% overall and 65% in required and/or relevant academic subjects for Maharashta, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal Boards).
Students with CISCE and CBSE certificates are not eligible for UPC courses as these qualifications are accepted by UCL for direct entry.
Indonesia
Award of the Ijazah - Sekolah Menengah Atas/Madrasah Aliya (SMA/MA) (Certificate of Graduation from Academic/Islamic Secondary School) with a minimum overall score of 80% and no less than 80% in required and/or relevant academic subjects.
Iraq
Sixth Form Baccalauréat/Certificate of Preparatory Education (Adadiyah) with an overall mark of 80% and no less than 80% in required and/or relevant academic subjects.
Iran
Diplom-Motevaseteh (National High School Diploma) with an average mark of 16/20 and no less than 17/20 in required and/or relevant academic subjects.

Japan
Kotogakko Sotsugyo Shomeisho (Upper Secondary School Leaving Certificate) with an average of 3 and no less than 4 in required and/or relevant academic subjects. Mathematics 1 & 2 are only required if you plan to study Mathematics on the UPC.
Jordan
Tawjihi (General Secondary Education Certificate) with overall average of 80% and no less than 85% in required and/or relevant academic subjects.

Kazakhstan
Attestat/Svidetel’ stvo o Srednem Obrazovanii (Certificate of Secondary Education) with an average mark of 4.5 in the final year and no less than 5 in required and/or relevant academic subjects.
Kenya
Kenyan Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) with no less than B+ overall and in required and/or relevant academic subjects.

Kuwait
