Baroness Hale, Honorary Professor at UCL Laws, interviewed by the Evening Standard

Baroness Hale of Richmond, President of the Supreme Court and Honorary Professor at UCL Laws, commented on sexist and discriminatory conduct in the legal profession in an interview published in today’s Evening Standard.
In the article, ‘Lady Hale slams high heels sexism and unfair pay in last week as UK's top judge’, Lady Hale called for greater equality in the legal profession, including equal pay. Lady Hale also commented on her proudest achievements in her career.
Lady Hale’s was interviewed by the Evening Standard during her last week as a Supreme Court justice, before she retires to take up a new role as Honorary Professor of Law at UCL Laws. Lady Hale will play a part in research, teaching, and public engagement in the Faculty, particularly in her areas of interest such as women’s rights, access to justice, and the rule of law.
