The event took place in Geneva on 24 May 2024 and was jointly hosted with the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies.

Dr Azaria’s talk concerned “State Silence and the International Law Commission” on a panel concerning the ILC’s authority. Part of her talk is based on her article published (open access) in the European Journal of International Law, “‘Codification by Interpretation’: The International Law Commission as an Interpreter of International Law” (2020).

The event’s video can be accessed on YouTube (Dr Azaria’s panel begins at 26:00 and Dr Azaria’s talk at 44:00).
