Biography

Professor Kaganas is Emeritus Professor and Honorary Professor of Law at Brunel University. She was a full time member of the academic staff of Brunel University from 1986-2024.

Professor Kaganas' research, teaching and supervision have been primarily in the areas of Family and Child Law. She has published extensively in refereed journals and has also published numerous chapters in books. Professor Kaganas has co-authored books and co-edited collections. Her publications include Family Law, Gender and the State with Professor Alison Diduck (Hart Publishing), which is in its third edition.
