Parliamentary Papers p. 64.
T71/871: almost illegible description of the 3 claimants as trustees of Renfrewshire, Scotland. The three were almost certainly trustees of William Cunninghame [q.v.] or Cuninghame of Craigends Renfrewshire.
Jamaica Almanac (1833): Grandvale or Grand Vale estate was owned by Wm. Cunningham [sic]. Alexander Pearson was a writer in Edinburgh (Scotland). James Stirling was possibly one of the sons in William Stirling & Sons, a family dyeing business based in Glasgow.
