[Name] Plaisance [Size] 415 In 1771, the Plaisance estate in St Patrick, belonging to the late George Green, was advertised in London as for sale in Grenada. The schedule of payment by instalments specified in the sale particulars suggest that a minimum price in excess of £30,000 was expected. The estate was subject to the claim for dower by Catherine Corsar, the wife of the Hon.
