Dorothy Hall Horsfall (née Berry)

Born Jamaica, 1794. Wife of Charles Horsfall (q.v.) and mother of Thomas Berry Horsfall (q.v.).  See St Thomas-in-the-Vale 170 for Hopewell estate on which Charles and Thomas Berry Horsfall were mortgagees.

According to a family tree on Ancestry.co.uk, Dorothy Hall Berry is referred to in Ray Desmond & Christine Ellwood, eds, Dictionary of British & Irish Botanists & Horticulturalists, p. 356. "Wife of Charles Horsfall, Drew 6 plates for Curtis' Bot. Mag. 1831 - 36"; and there is a reference to her in the Gardener's Magazine and Register of Rural & Domestic Improvement, p. 349.
