George Harris married Jane Woodruff Jackson at some point between 1829 and 1832; in the Slave Registers of 1832 he registered 5 enslaved people in right of his wife, who had previously been registered by her mother as guardian in Clarendon in 1829. Mary Anne Harris, born 30/07/1833, was baptised in St Thomas-in-the-East 22/03/1845, daughter of George Harris and Jane W. Harris his wife; George's abode was given as Morant Bay and his occupation as Clerk of the Peace.
