Of Devonshire Street, London, counterclaimed apparently unsuccessfully for £1000 plus interest from the compensation for the enslaved people on the Redemption estate in St Vincent, as mortgagee on her behalf and on behalf of her trustee William Crooke of St Vincent. She was the niece and legatee of George Sharpe (q.v.), the owner of Redemption who died c. 1807 leaving her £500, when he identified her as the daughter of his sister Anne Wilson and her former husband Robert Barnewall. The will of Robert Barnewall, surgeon of St Vincent proved 01/03/1788 shows her as the sister of Jennetta or Jane Barnewall, the wife of Josias Jackson (q.v.).
