Major-General in the Army, son of William Mackinnon of Antigua and Binfield co. Berks (d. 1809), and uncle of William Alexander Mackinnon (q.v). Trustees of the marriage settlement of Henry Mackinnon and Catherine Call were awarded part of the compensation for the enslaved people on Mackinnon's estate on Antigua.
