George Lucas

Third son (second surviving son) of Philip Monoux Lucas and one of the 'heirs of Philip Monoux Lucas' named as a beneficiary of his late father's estates.

1. Baptism of George Lucas son of Philip Monoux and Sarah Lucas at St Marylebone 10/03/1819 (the entry shows his birth as 25 or 26/09/1818).

2. The subsequent tracing of George Lucas remains tentative. He was probably the George Lucas who in 1851 aged 32 born Marylebone was living at 5 Priory Terrace Bedford with his aunt Harriet aged 74 unmarried also born Marylebone. In 1881 George Lucas unmarried landowner aged 62 born Marylebone was living at 18 Hamiton Terrace. The will of George Lucas of 18 Hamilton Terrace who died 07/06/1890 was proved 26/06/1891 effects £57,510 0s 1d.
