Chief Justice of Tobago, deceased husband of Deborah Piggot (q.v.). He was the 3rd son of John Piggott of St. George's Town, Grenada. Entered Middle Temple 1775 and called to the Bar in 1785. Attorney-General of Tobago; Chief Justice 1816-28; President and Commander-in-Chief 1827-8. Married Deborah Thornhill. Died in Tobago.
Elphinstone Piggott, Gentleman, of Middle Temple, was admitted to the Globe Lodge Society of Freemasons, Chancery Lane, 13/10/1793.
Elphinstone, son of Elphinstone Piggott and Deborah his wife, born 22/05/1802 and baptised 02/08/1802 in St Michael, Barbados.
