Elizabeth Hervey (née March)

Biography

Daughter and heiress of Francis March (whose will was proved in 02/04/1752). She married Thomas Hervey, the illegitimate son but heir of Hon. Thomas Hervey, the son of the 1st Earl of Bristol. Their son was William Hervey (q.v.).

  1. Will of Elizabeth Hervey of Acton Lodge [made in 1805 with a codicil of 1815] proved 16/03/1820. In the will she left numerous monetary legacies secured on her Jamaica estates [and enslaved people], which and whom she left, subject to the legacies, to her son William Hervey, together with her estate at Acton and her leasehold house in Upper Seymour Street.
