Martin Seaton, c. 1792 - c. 1819. Martin Seaton was baptised in St Elizabeth, Jamaica, in 1792: his parents were William Seaton and Mary Burton. His father may have been William Seaton, owner of Mount Prospect, St Elizabeth (q.v.) but we cannot be certain about this. Martin Seaton was owner of Doncaster, St Elizabeth, 1811 to 1819 or 1820 (he was still alive in March 1819, but deceased by March 1820). Martin Seaton had three children who inherited Doncaster. They were baptised in St Elizabeth in 1817 (William and Amitha) and 1818 (Lucy Facey). In each case, the record gives the parents' names both as Seaton with no forenames.
