Slave-owner on Barbados, brother of Robert Burnet Jones (q.v.). Two daughters of Thomas Battyn Jones of Barbados - Harbourne Barnwell Jones (d. 1896) and Rachel Jane Jones (d. 1861) are buried in Ryde Cemetery on the Isle of Wight.
