Biography

Part-owner of Union estate on St Vincent, bankrupt in 1812, when he was shown as 'formerly of Sloane Street and late of St Vincent gent.'

Tentatively identifed as Joseph Warner, second son of Joseph Warner of Hatton Street and his wife Elizabeth nee Saunders and thus the brother of William Warner of Dominica and uncle of Joseph Thomas Warner, Colonel Edward Warner and Jane Heming Warner (all of whom q.v.).

Married Elizabeth, daughter of Richard Ottley of St Vincent, and had two sons, Ashton, born in 1780 and Richard, born in 1782. Elizabeth died in 1801. He remarried, to Laura Elizabeth Ashe in 1802 in Marylebone and four more children: Joseph (1804-), Robert Edward (1806-), Laura (1808-), William Kerby (1811-). Died 02/09/1833 age 77 years; buried at Wrington, Somerset.
