17 [August] In Jamaica [death of] Hugh Walker of Carron Hall.
Death "At 24 Clarence Street, Edinburgh, on the 18th instand, Wilhelmina Janet Gray, relict of Hugh Walker, Esq. of Carron Hall, Jamaica, and daughter of the late Captain Walter Gray, of the Sutherland Fencibles." Note Wilhelmina was the niece of William Gray (q.v.), Provost Marshall of Jamaica.
