Owner of Abingdon estate in Hanover, Jamaica, from at least 1788 to 1790 when the estate appears in the Accounts Produce. Probably but not certainly Thomas James d. 1805, the brother of William Rhodes James II., whose will disposed of individual enslaved people but not of an estate.
