Susannah Slatford married first Hampson Thomas, then Matthew Powell (an army physician in Jamaica, alive in 1780 but deceased by 1783) and finally Henry Deaves. Shown variously as of Britain and Ireland 1797-1804, but not yet further traced.
The will of Susanna Deaves of Carey Street, St Clement Danes proved 09/01/1794 appears unconnected. Among other smaller monetary legacies, this woman left £2000 in consols to her brother [sic] Richard Deaves, and £1000 to Mr Charles Grooby. Her residuary legatee was Thomas Payne of Brook Street son of her cousin Thomas Payne of Newcastle, PROB 11/240/222.
