Biography

  1. Will of Robert Bell of Trelawny [made in 1814] proved 05/06/1817. He left all his property to his wife Mary Gallimore Bell (q.v.) for life and then to his adopted son John Stogdon Highatt (q.v.). If the latter died before he reached 21, the proper was to pass to Dugald Malcolm Ruthven and his wife. In the Jamaican registration for the will, Robert Bell was shown as late of the United Kingdom.
