Year of birth estimate. Daughter of Rev. William Vaughan Hamilton, who settled enslaved people in trust for his children Shakespeare Hamilton, Mrs Eliza Singer and Mrs Caroline Daun at some point between 1820 and 1823.
Eliza married George Singer (1790-1821), an attorney of St. Catherine, Jamaica, in 1818. They had one son, Captain George Singer (1819-1867).
