Dominica and later Liverpool slave-trader, and slave-owner in Demerara, partner with William Heathcote (q.v.). Consistent with the financial problems implied by the appearance of assignees for his estate in Demerara, David Pope shows him as leaving only £100 in his will, proved at Chester 12/01/1819, of Liverpool and Newbie Dumfriesshire.
