William Ashmeade

1769 - 1843

Biography

Annuitant under the will of his brother Henry Ashmeade (q.v.) for £50 p.a. secured on his property (including enslaved people).

William Ashmeade was baptised 18/08/1769, St Michael, Gloucester. His parents were William and Mary Ashmeade.

William Ashmeade of Blackheath Park, Charlton, was buried at St Margaret's Church, Lee, Kent, 28/03/1843 age 74. The Will of William Ashmeade of Blackheath Park, Kent was proved 13/04/1843. This must be the same man given that in the will of Henry Ashmeade proved in 1821 he described his brother of The Paragon, Blackheath, Kent, although the will makes no reference to Henry Ashmeade's surviving widow Susannah Ashmeade (q.v.).
