Liverpool and Jamaica slave factor, partner with Samuel Rainford (q.v.) and Robert Rainford senior (q.v.), at first in Kingston and then returning to Liverpool. Son of the Liverpool slave trader Jonathon or Jonathan Blundell (1723-1800) whom he reportedly predeceased by a few months in 1800 aged 42.
