Rev. John Bourryau Spooner

???? - 1846

Biography

Beneficiary under the will of his cousin John Bourryau of Grenada (q.v. after whom presumably he was named, and who left him £5000 at 21), and brother of Hungerford Spooner the younger of Jamaica (q.v.).

  1. Will of John Bourryau Spooner of Blyborough Liconshire proved 31/10/1846. He left to Rev. John Charles Anderson Bart. of Lea in Lincolnshire his picture of a dog by Stubbs, and to Charles Henry John Anderson of Lea his cattle picture by Ibbetson and also his [Spooner's] portrait of the Rev. Thomas Monson, and to John Hett of Glamford Briggs in Lincolnshire his large landscape by Rosa da Tivoli. He left £500 to Eliza Robinson, the natural reputed daughter of his late brother Hungerford Spooner, 'now or lately residing in the island of Jamaica.'
