In 1774 John Lang purchased an annuity for the life of Dinah Lang. LBS has identified her as his daughter: Dinah Lang was baptised at Allhalllows in 1768. She was the Dinah Lang who married James Smith of Ely Place at St James Bath in 1790: the will of Dinah Smith widow of Clifton made 31/12/1845 and proved 09/09/1848 shows her as leaving £700 from the money held by N.S. Chauncy to her grandchildren and her residuary estate to her daughter Portia Myers Smith.
