Merchant of Antigua and slave-owner on St Vincent, first husband of Lydia O'Connor nee Brodie (q.v.). He was party to two deeds, one of 01/01/1798 whereby he and James Lowe purchased the estate known as Mount William in St Vincent, appraised at £24,960, from the executors of Henry Sharpe and Samuel Parker Clapham; and the second a deed of August 1799 under which he took over the mortgage of George Fraser on the Mount William estate in St Vincent, when he was described as late of St Vincent but now of Antigua. He died shortly thereafter, reportedly in 1800.
