Rev. Nicholas Tindal, pluralist Anglican clergyman and at the time of his death Chaplain of Greenwich Hospital. He has an entry in the ODNB as 'historical writer.' Tindal held annuities on 'West India property' among his broader portfolio of annuities. In his will he left an annuity of £36 p.a. secured on the estate of William Irish in Montserrat; he also appeared (as of Greenwich) in a list of purchasers in the sale of annuities of Admiral Arthur Forrest (q.v.) on the Masemure estate in Jamaica in 1768 (which is not specified in his will). He was the great-grandfather of Sir Nicholas Conyngham Tindal (q.v.).
