???? - 1838
The Accounts Produce for 1832 showed Dr William Gordon as the owner of Darliston.
LBS has tentatively identified this as the Dr William Gordon formerly of Jamaica of South Villa Elgin whose will [made in 1837] was proved in 1838. The will however is silent on property in people and names his spouse as Anna Gordon.
William Gordon, MD, and Mary Guise, spinster, were married at Hanover, 21/03/1807.
PROB 11/1890/363.
