Son of Stedman Rawlins II of St Kitts (q.v.). Resident planter. Claimed as trustee of (his mother-in-law) Margaret Bayford and on his own account on two estates in St Kitts: he lost out to his brother-in-law John Bayford in both, in the first of which Bayford was executor of Margaret Bayford's will (proved in 1825, when she was described as widow) and in the second of which Bayford was trustee of the marriage settlement of Rawlins with Margaret Bayford (John Bayford's sister). Member of Council in St Kitts at the time of his third daughter's marriage in 1845.
