Will of John Bellingham Inglis formerly of Norfolk Road Regents Park but late of 13 Albion Road St John's Wood who died 09/12/1870 at 13 Albion Road proved by Cornelius Inglis of 9 Duke Street Portland Place MD son the sole executor 19/01/1871 effects under £26,000 resworn August 1873 under £14,000.
John Bellingham Inglis died 19[sic]/12/1870 aged 91, with a suit over his will and his maidservant reported in the Times in 1873. He became a rentier: 'a person of sedentary and literary pursuits' and owned bonds especially Turkish bonds, the subject of the suit.
