???? - 1874
British Army officer, son, residuary co-heir and administrator of John Willis (q.v.). Browne Willis was party to the Chancery suit of Pratt v Willis into which was paid the compensation for several estates in Jamaica which his father had owned or over which his father had claims, and of a second suit of Fuller v Willis which concerned first his father's and then his own status as either mortgagee-in-posession or receiver of Fuller's Rest and Thetford estates. His relationship to the 18th century antiquarian Browne Willis, whose namesake he presumably was, has not yet been established by LBS.
