Dublin banker, High Sheriff of Dublin 1849 and partner in La Touche & Co. (acquired by the Munster Bank in 1871). The William Digges Latouche who was a founding subscriber to the Bank of Ireland c. 1783 (and who died 1803) was a relative, probably his grandfather. Co-awardee with Peter Digges La Touche (q.v.) of Cape Clear and Koningsberg Castle in St Mary Jamaica, which are shown as 'Lynch and Latouche' in the Jamaica Almanacs between 1815 and 1833. Mary Digges La Touche (q.v.) was also awarded compensation for eight enslaved people on Koningsgberg Castle.
