Elizabeth Sarsfield Lord was christened 1 June 1788 in St Philip, Barbados, the daughter of John and Bathsheba Lord. She was buried in St Philip's Parish Church, 2 June 1851, aged 64. Her age at death thus gives her birth year as either 1787 or 1788.
She lived, unmarried, at the family mansion, Long Bay Castle, until her death, surviving all her siblings.
