Co-executor (presumably in succession to his father) of John Alves (who died in Jamaica in 1825) from at least 1834. Probably the nephew of John Alves and son of Robert Fotheringham and Mary Alves who had married in Linlithgow in 1803. Keith Fotheringham was born 02/01/1811 and baptised in Bo'ness 13/01/1811. His father Robert was an officer of excise.
Keith Elphinstone Fotheringham was admitted to the Friendly Lodge of the Freemasons in Jamaica in 1838.
Memorial inscription to Keith Fotheringham in Kingston parish churchyard, who died 02/11/1847 aged 32. Also to James Fotheringham who died 25/06/1834 aged 30.
