Details of changes to loan periods during the UCL closure for Christmas 2019. Our libraries reopen on Thursday 2nd January 2020.
Laptop loans
Laptops borrowed from the UCL Student Centre will be for 1 day as normal. The Student Centre is open 24/7 during the Christmas break.
For all other sites, any laptop borrowed from Thursday 19th December will be due back on Friday 20th December, before 10am.
Standard loans
Will be issued for 8 weeks as usual, subject to recall by another user.
One week loans
Items borrowed or renewed between Friday 13th and Friday 20th December will be due back on Friday 3rd January 2020.
Three Day loans
Items borrowed from Tuesday 17th December will be due back on Friday 3rd January 2020.
One Day loans
Items borrowed from Thursday 19th December will be due back on Friday 3nd January 2020, before 10am.
3 hour loans
Items borrowed from Thursday 19th December will be due back on Friday 3rd January 2020, before 10am.
Reservations
Standard, two week and one week loans are subject to recall and reservation by other users throughout vacation periods, but no books will be due for return during the college closure.
