Become a UCL MAPS Digital Student Ambassador

We're looking for creative, confident, social media-savvy students who are great at communicating their UCL experience with others to become MAPS Digital Student Ambassadors!

About the Role

Who better to talk to prospective students about studying and life at UCL than our current students? As a UCL MAPS Digital Student Ambassador (DSA) you will be acting as students on Unibuddy and/or taking part in online events, such as virtual open days or social media takeovers.  the face of the Faculty of Mathematical and Physical Sciences (MAPS), working with us to produce digital content, such as blogs and vlogs, appearing on videos, talking to

You'll be producing digital content that expresses your experiences as a student at UCL Mathematical and Physical Sciences, helping prospective students discover what student life is like at UCL.

This is a paid role, where you’ll be expected to produce content, or take part in set online activities each month, including being a Unibuddy ambassador. You’ll also have opportunities to produce additional content, increasing your paid hours each month. You'll be paid at Grade 5, Spine Point 17 on the Unitemps scale, which is equivalent to £16.69 per hour, although the number of hours you're paid each month will depend on the type and amont of content you produce. With flexible hours and plenty of opportunities to express and develop your creative talent and presentational skills, this role is ideal for those looking to tell their story about student life at UCL!

We'll give you all the training you need to create your best work.

How Do I Apply?

You'll need to complete a form to tell us a bit more about yourself, even if you've worked as a UCL MAPS DSA and/or Unibuddy in the past. If you have digital content you're happy to share, please do include this in the appropriate field!

The scheme is only open to undergraduate and postgraduate taught students in a MAPS Faculty Department.
