Department News, March 2021 Part 1

We rose again in the QS University World Rankings by subject. Last year we were joint 49th - now we are 42nd (and 6th in the UK behind Cambridge, Oxford, Imperial, Warwick and Edinburgh). Of course we all know these league tables are nonsense really... but right now this could be politically helpful within UCL as we continue to push for IMSS. (Incidentally, Stats are in the top 30, but of course against a slightly smaller field.)
