The UK Medical Applicant Cohort Study (UKMACS) is an academic research study about applying to medical school.
We aim to ensure the NHS benefits from having the best doctors by helping students from all backgrounds apply to medical school.
The study is led by Dr Katherine Woolf at University College London (UCL), and funded by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Career Development Fellowship (Grant Reference Number CDF-2017-10-008).
The views expressed are those of the researchers and not necessarily those of the NIHR or the Department of Health and Social Care.
