I am studying Applied Medical Sciences here at UCL. My interests in the medical sciences are varied. I particularly enjoy genetics as I find fascinating how so many of our traits are determined by such small but numerous molecules. I’m also interested in child and population health as well as science communication as I think it is crucial in this social media era in which information flows sometimes overwhelmingly, to deliver accurate and clear scientific information. Good child and population health keeps people safe and good science communication helps to keep people up to date, well informed and potentially develop a passion for Science!  I hope to be able to fit those interests into a career one day after university.
