The conference will feature local experts and guest speakers from around the world, highlighting a wide range of mental health topics with an overarching theme of “Putting science into practice”. These will include neuroscience of psychiatric disorders, COVID-19 and mental health, suicide, and global mental health.
The event will be held virtually from 10.00am to 4.30pm, including poster sessions and networking opportunities.
Speakers include Daniel Weinberger (Johns Hopkins) on Neurobiology of Schizophrenia, and from UCL, Professor Susan Michie on Behavioural Science and COVID-19 and Professor Ray Dolan on Computational Psychiatry. There will be a session on Lived Experience and Research, chaired by Professors Sonia Johnson and Helen Killaspy, UCL Psychiatry.
This event is open to academics, researchers, clinicians, students and people with lived experience.
