Family Event: Mummy Masks with Jaquie

The Petrie Museum team are currently undertaking a new conservation project with the cartonnage masks in the collection. So come and join artist Jaquie Feldman to create your very own cartonnage mummy mask.

Learn about the meanings that lie behind the different colours, materials and designs used through drawing and creativity.
This workshop is part of UCL Museums and Cultural Programmes 2024-25 event series Architecting Futures, bringing together art, culture and research.
Audience
This is an intergenerational workshop, suitable for all ages and abilities. Everyone is welcome.
Booking
This event comprises two sessions:
- Bookable session from 1pm–2pm, please reserve yourself a space by booking one ticket per family group on our Eventbrite page.
- Drop-in session from 2pm–4pm where booking is not required.
Booking opens at noon on 18 October.
