The closing date for this year's 'Research Images as Art/Art Images as Research' competition is 16 November 2007. The annual competition, which is organised by the UCL Graduate School, is open to all graduate students and academic staff, whether science- or arts-based.

Entrants are invited to submit images associated with their research that have aesthetic appeal. An exhibition of the images is held centrally in UCL and assessed by a panel of judges. A first prize of £250 and six runner-up prizes of £150 will be awarded. The images will also appear in a gallery on the Graduate School website.
