The employee assistance programme (EAP) can help UCL staff with a wide range of information and practical help on many issues, including personal legal matters, consumer rights, debt issues, benefits, and childcare and eldercare information.

Provided by Employee Advisory Resource (EAR), the EAP service is a free information and support service available to you as a UCL employee and to your family members.

Your EAP service now includes a new online service, Extranet, which has been designed by EAR to enhance and support the service provided by the EAP. You may find it useful to obtain information from the site before you call to talk with a specialist at EAR, or use it as a follow-up resource.

Extranet includes:
•    practical information on a wide range of topics
•    600+ fact sheets
•    one-to-one e-mail with an EAP Professional
•    online counselling
•    a number of interactive self-assessment tools.

To find out more about this service and to view the 'Online Services Guide', which sets out how to access the online service, use the link at the top of this article.
